Celebrating a Milestone: Third Place at EparaTodos Lynn’s “Lanza Tu Idea Otoño 2024” Contest

This fall has been nothing short of incredible for *Majo Suárez Wellness*. On Thursday, September 12, I had the honor of presenting my startup at EparaTodos Lynn’s “Lanza Tu Idea Otoño 2024” contest—a prestigious event that brings together local entrepreneurs to share their business ideas, receive feedback, and compete for cash prizes to help grow their ventures.

Out of eleven inspiring participants representing diverse industries such as food, art, music, and fashion, Majo Suarez was awarded third place and the favorite idea of the public by a distinguished panel of judges! Winning this $1,000.00 prize is a tremendous boost for my corporate wellness startup, which focuses on providing yoga sessions, meditation, and wellness workshops to help businesses improve employee productivity and creativity.

This recognition from the audience—over 60 members of the Latino community—was a deeply humbling and validating experience. Knowing that my vision for promoting wellness in the workplace resonated so strongly with attendees inspires me to keep pushing forward.

The event and The Competition

The “Lanza Tu Idea” contest is much more than a competition. It’s a platform for local entrepreneurs to validate their ideas, refine their pitches, and connect with a network of potential clients, collaborators, and community leaders. The night was filled with energy, creativity, and passion, as each participant brought their unique story and vision to the stage.

The judges, Liday Renjifo, Marlenis Ramírez, Camila Hennessy, and Juliana Bustamante, brought their expertise to the table, carefully evaluating each presentation. I was inspired by the level of detail and thoughtfulness that went into every business pitch.
